Week 03
PROJECT PROGRESS | 12-15 August 2021
This week, I have work on further improve on the website "decolouring". After I have done with the further improvement, I would be doing two high usability tests on the design and layout of the website. There would be five users to help with the test to see which of the website they would prefer and if there is anything that needs to be further improved. There are a few things which I have to work on for the improvement website, that is the colour and the layout. While working on the website I seem to be having trouble choosing the correct colour for the website. At first, the chosen colour is a bit similar to Facebook and it gives the audience to think if the website is created by Facebook. To avoid this type of problem, I have tested out two types of colour and tone for both websites. Website A would be using vibrant colour and dark tone to match with the layout of the website. As for website B, would be using pastel and light colour to give people a feeling of fun when they visit the website. The objective of this comparison is to see which design and layout would the user choose.Workshop
Today, we would be continuing our workshop on coding HTML websites using bootstrap. The workshop includes knowing how to link the pages, carousel, and adding video.

Prepare High Usability Testing "website"
The high usability testing would be using a google form "questionnaire" to help with the research. Due to the pandemic, there would be no close contact with the user and the user would be self records the process of how they go through both of the websites. After they had to go through both of the websites they will then began to answer the questionnaire that is being prepared for them. Everything will be online for safety purposes. The questionnaire would be having two sections for the user to fill in. At the end of this research, I would analyse to see which of the user preferences and how they go through the website by the video.
